Our school canteen is the purpose built heart of our school.
With room enough for all, our healthy and nutritious meals are provided by Dolce School Catering and are freshly prepared and cooked daily in our re-fitted school kitchen. Pupils in Reception to Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal daily. Pupils in Years 3 to 6 pay £2.25 for a lunch with a dessert.
We also promote healthy eating by providing a "help yourself" salad cart at lunchtime. A Schools Food Trust Assessment rated our provision as "excellence in pupil feeding".
Dolce also support the curriculum by providing adapted menus to support our themed days and providing cooking demonstrations to pupils. The pupils can enjoy “Italian” and “French” food items amongst others along with cooked to order pancakes on Shrove Tuesday.
